The Varsity Top Pattern
The Varsity Top is a casual and comfy shirt, suited for advanced beginners and up. This design is made using a raglan technique, and features a v- neckline with lacing. The fiber content of this project is a silk/wool blend - allowing for stretch, warmth & comfort on skin.
This pattern is a made-to-measure design, and can be slightly adjusted to fit the wearer’s shape. Due to everyone’s unique body shape, this pattern can be made as wide, cropped or long as desired.
Construction - Garment is worked top-down to create yoke & v-neck shape, underarm chains are added before continuing onto the body section. Lastly, a simple border is worked onto neck opening, and a crochet chain is used for the center lacing.
